Why visit Covington?

THE WEAVER'S DAUGHTER is located in a quaint little town called Covington, Indiana. Covington is small in size, but packed full of cute little shoppes, restaurants (including one that serves FANTASTIC sushi rolls), ice cream shoppes, a coffee roastery, apple orchard, and perfect for antiquers. We are just a minute from the Beef House and Covington even has an INDOOR BEACH!

The Covington Shoppes band together several times a year to sponsor a fun "shoppe event." In the Spring and Fall, we have events that include prizes and a drawing for a huge gift basket. In the Winter, you can enjoy "Covington's Christmas on the Square."

Covington is definitely the place to shoppe for unique gifts, a delicious meal, or just to buy an excellent latte.

Drowning in Business Cards!

I rushed to order new business cards thinking I only had 3-4 left, only to find a box of cards under the counter the very...next...day. Now I have tons of old business cards that I'm trying to get rid of quickly because I want to get the new ones out! I've stuffed all of our shoppe bags, my card holder is full, my card holder in the hall is overflowing. I put one on the bulletin board that's for all the businesses in the building (like they don't know we're here or something). Take a card, take TWO, while you shop at The Weaver's Daughter!  I'm drowning in business cards! New Shoppe Sign

We finally got a new sign for our window! I didn't have anything to wash the window with, so I used paper towel and soapy water. Not good. It took me for-ev-er! I finally got it clean inside and out to the amusement of the surrounding businesses. (I think the passing cars thought I was a mannequin standing in the shoppe window.) To my horror, the sign fell out of the window after an hour. Second try. Double the amount of tape. More entertainment for the neighbors. I'm pleased to say it has stayed intact for two days. Here's what the front of our building looks like.
